About

Established in 2019 by Pamela Hargest and Garrett Bent, our mission is to provide a diverse and high-quality selection of native perennials.

Native plants thrive in our region’s climate and natural soil conditions with little to no irrigation and annual maintenance. In addition to providing a variety of color and blooms throughout the seasons, native plants provide a recognizable source of food and shelter for the insects, birds and mammals.

All of our plants are grown from seed in organic potting mix from Vermont Compost.

For over 10 years, Pamela has worked as a community educator for garden and farm-based organizations. Garrett comes to this work with a degree in biology, and is passionate about promoting biodiversity, conserving natural resources and serving his community.

Our goal is to support a more diverse and resilient landscape through growing native plants.
